I talk to a lot of people from clients, friends, family and other healers. Almost everyone I know is experiencing some deep-seeded, old energy that is causing havoc in one or more areas of their life.
As spiritual seekers, it is beneficial to take time for deep introspection. This is usually called self-inquiry.
During the eclipse, my guides said this was an important time to start working on the Shadow of the Shadow. I know! That sounds a little daunting to me too!
The Shadow of the Shadow is those tiny fragments of yourself that remain hidden, lurking in the corners of your mind, and influencing your actions in ways you might not even realize.
It is the little shards that you have had embedded in your energy field for a long time.
The shadow of the shadow is all about those layers deep within, the unresolved emotions, and hidden beliefs that shape our lives.
It’s called the Shadow because it’s the parts of you that you have denied or hidden within your subconscious.
Please don’t deny your Shadow.
The ego likes to pretend that you aren’t responsible for those problems in your life. There is a great power in doing deep Shadow work!
To open up to the Shadow, you will want to explore your past pains and traumas, examine your limiting beliefs and judgements, and explore your patterns in your life and your relationships.
Here are a few things that you can do to start to look closely at your Shadow.
Meditation & Reflection: Take some quiet time to connect with your inner self. Journal your thoughts, fears, and dreams. It's in these moments of stillness that the shadow's whispers become clearer.
Spiritual Healer: Work with someone who can help you see and transcend your shadow. This is something I help people with.
Self-Compassion: Be kind to yourself as you navigate this inner terrain. Remember, we all have our shadows; it's part of being human.
Creativity: Express yourself through art, writing, or any creative outlet. This can be a powerful tool for self-discovery.
Since I’ve been working on my Shadow for a few weeks, some interesting things have come up for me.
I just experienced a huge healing of my 16-year-old self. Basically, I heard the thoughts I used to tell myself a LONG time ago. But I knew it was from a trauma around that age.
It was so amazing to witness the inner transformation and quiet mind after I cleared that pattern!
Remember, embracing your shadow of the shadow is a courageous act of Self-Love! By shining light on these hidden corners, you empower yourself to live more authentically and radiate your inner brilliance. 🌞
