What is your cancellation policy?
You will agree to a complete terms and conditions form when you sign up, so make sure you read through that.
There is a limited cancellation policy. If you choose to cancel, you are bound to the cancellation policy below. Any cancellation prior to the start of the retreat will result in a forfeit of your deposit of $400 and any cancellation after July 31, 2024, will be a total forfeit of fees paid.

I need a roommate – how do I arrange that?
Please go to the community page and connect with others in the retreat.
Can I bring my kids/partner?
If your partner wants to join you at the Ascension 88 Gateway Retreat, that would be wonderful. If your partner and children want to visit Mt Shasta with you, that is fine, but they CANNOT attend any of the events. No one under 18 is permitted to participate.
But remember you are coming to this transformational retreat to experience the mystical, and you may need some time to yourself after your day is complete. I would suggest inviting your family to join you once the retreat is over. That is a win/win.
Where do I fly into?
1. Redding Regional Airport (RDD) is the closest commercial airport to Mount Shasta, California. It is a 1-hour drive to Mt Shasta. You will need a car in Mt Shasta since there isn’t any public transportation.
2. Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is a 3-hour drive to Mt Shasta.
3. Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is a 4-hour drive to Mt Shasta.
PLEASE, Do Not Leave on Sunday unless you are taking a flight out at about midnight. You don’t want to miss the closing ceremony!
You can arrive earlier and stay longer to explore the area on your own!
Is there transportation to & from the airport?
From Redding Regional Airport (RDD) it’s a beautiful 1-hour drive to Mt Shasta. The fastest way to get to Mt Shasta from the airport is to rent a car. You can take a bus, but it is a long ride. I suggest the participants ride-share and share the costs of a car. You will receive more information about ride-sharing once you sign up for the retreat.

There will be healthy light snacks and water. If you have special dietary needs, please bring your own snacks.
What is the weather like?
It’s MtShasta and you never know what you’ll get. I suggest you layer your clothes. It’s cooler in the morning and warmer in the afternoon. We will be spending some of the retreat outside, so just be as flexible as the weather itself.
In August the weather is warm but in the evenings you may need a jacket.
We will be doing early morning and early evening events outside. Be prepared to layer.
And in the retreat center, what is cold to some is hot to others! Please wear layers.
