If you are like me, you have had some difficult relationships in your life. You have had people who can bring up the feelings of unlovable, sadness, anger, pain, abandonment etc.
It can be frustrating to deal with people who hurt you. Most of these people are not doing it on purpose, there is something within you that allows them to treat you that way.
What I mean is that your energy is a magnet. The energy you vibrate at is the same vibration that is attracted back to you. You are not a victim to anyone or anything.
Here is one of the three simple steps to change the energy within you so you can have more peaceful relationships.
1. Ground and Centering
This is the best way to have more peace in your life. When you are grounded, it is harder for others around you to take advantage of you.
Think about it this way: if you have a huge oak tree with shallow roots you would be able to just push it over easily.
That is what happens when you are not grounded, you are easily knocked off balance and your center wobbles, which makes you feel unsteady and a little lightheaded.
Once you ground and center, your energy becomes stronger and it's harder to knock you off balance. If someone does try to knock you down, take a minute and re-ground and center.
It is easy to ground and center, read through the directions and don’t overthink it. There is no right or wrong way to do it!
- Close your eyes (it’s easier to visualize and feel when you do)
- Take a deep breath in and out
- Bring your full attention and awareness to your feet.
- Imagine or visualize your feet being buried in something you love like sand, mud, clay, tiny pebbles, dirt etc.
- Bury your feet up to your ankles
- Now you are going to totally ground
- Bring awareness to your body and feel your energy fully in your body as if your energetic feet are where your physical feet are and your energetic hands where your physical hands are.
Stay there until you feel calm and completely present in your body.
